OK, a little progress here.. There is a process "dvrhelper" on the Dahua which is being maxed out, resulting in the DVR crashing. This appears to happen when a motion event is triggered by ZM. I'm not 100% sure what dvrhelper does, but it appears to have an input "CHALLENGE", which makes me suspect ...

Thanks for the reply. It just doesn't make sense that an external trigger can reboot the DVR, but that is what is happening.
