Re: No image/video
Strongly recommend going to Zoneminder 1.30.4. Anything beyond that version is in development and can have issues. True, you may not have your cameras configured correctly, and as far as I know, there is no patch required for Apache. See: https://wiki.zoneminder.com/Ubuntu_Server_16.04_64-bit_with ...

Good time of the day I'm so sorry for rising so many topics and questions. Just want to deploy at least simple working service. So... currently, I have Ubuntu 16.04 and ZM 1.31.44. Everything was installed from scratch, and also I applied that fix for apache2. Now my UI looks good, and I have no ...

Re: Preferable OS
Fortunately, I don't have serious problems with CentOS nor Ubuntu or Debian(like user experience). But usually different OS's has different headers (libs), scripts may work in a bit different way and OSes may have bugs by themselves. Like currently I have Debian stretch, and I see that for some ...

Re: Preferable OS
My understanding: - The savvy ones who know how to operate smart phones use Ubuntu. - The ones who use flip phones seem to like CentOS. - The ones who love to have their ZM APIs keep breaking seem to like Debian - The ones who like to challenge the normal, because, well, why not seem to do ...

Preferable OS
Good time of the day!
I understand that it may be a stupid question.. but.. I'm wondering which exactly OS is preferable for ZoneMinder? Where you Devs and QAs are testing your changes first? Which OS is most/more supported? Which platform has fewer bugs with ZoneMinder?
Many thanks!

Upgrading from 1.30.04 to 1.31.x
Good day!
I want to try and upgrade to testing branch. I see a lot of different topics here and even found a solution for Ubuntu. But unfortunately, currently, I'm using Debian Stretch. Is there any ability to update ZM on it? Except compiling code from sources. Thanks
