Was there ever a solution for this? I'm finding one of my cameras also fails after a short time and a settings->save brings it back.

To answer my own question, I have put in a lower resolution (while keeping the aspect ratio) in the ZM capture settings and memory usage has reduced. I'm still interested in some of the answers above though :) EDIT: and what about disk (space and IO) and load? Would understating the resolution lower ...
