Re: Axis, Motion detection
Thanks for the quick reply. I had to offload the motion detection to the cameras, since the added load of the last two cameras had the server begging for mercy.

Axis, Motion detection
I've got a setup consisting of about 15 Axis cameras and I just added two brand new 5MP AXIS M1137 Mk II Box Cameras. I can't for the life of me get motion detection working with these however. Source type is set to ffmpeg, function modect. Reference image blend is set to 12.5%(outdoors) and alarm ...

Same here. Oddly enough older events are playable.

Tp-link Tapo C200
I'm testing out a really cheap TP-link Tapo C200 with zoneminder. It has rtsp support and even though the live feed works just fine, no matter what I set the motion detection settings too, it only triggers an alarm a fraction of the time. I'm attaching my settings.

Re: Unable to connect to ZM db.SQLSTATE[HY000] [1040] Too many connections
After running the server for a few more weeks I started seeing this again. Even after changing max_connections to 1000 in my.cnf. Zoneminder was upgraded to 1.32.2 my.cnf max_connections = 1000 mysql> show status like '%onn ...

Unable to connect to ZM db.SQLSTATE[HY000] [1040] Too many connections
Zoneminder 1.32.1 running on Ubuntu 16.04.5. Never had this issue before. max_connections was commented out in /etc/mysql/my.cnf.
I stopped zoneminder, set it to 200 and restarted mysql and zoneminder just to be on the safe side. Hoping that's the end of it.

monitor id
I've got a setup with 19 pretty much identical cameras. During testing I created a monitor and then cloned it. I realized I made a mistake and removed all the monitors. I've corrected the monitor ids in the database to match the names, but when i try to add a new monitor the id is 38 instead of 20 ...

Re: Load issues
After changing my.cnf the load went down to on average 2.5. Not great, but a lot better.

Load issues
I've got zoneminder running on a Lenovo Thinkstation E31 with an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1225 V2 @ 3.20GHz, 4 cores and 4GB DDR3 ram. Two mirrored 1TB SATA disks in a software raid using mdadm. After upgrading zoneminder to 1.32 from 1.30 the system load went from around 1 to in some cases around 4 ...
