Re: Event recording no longer restarts on 10-minute boundaries
I... *think* I tried that? So many hours and tries ago... I can't be sure. If I find the energy to try this again but virtually this time, I'll report back on that setting... FYI, I was wrong about no hiccups during the downgrade, heh... just spent hours massaging the database because filter ...

Re: Event recording no longer restarts on 10-minute boundaries
The time crunch is off, as I've downgraded to 1.32.3 again. I just discovered bugs, and some removed functionality, in the web interface that made 1.34.16 unusable (past events only successfully play at regular speed without corrupting the image, current event only plays back a few frames before ...

Event recording no longer restarts on 10-minute boundaries
Just upgraded from 1.32 to 1.34... So in a nutshell, when you set a maximum event length of 600 seconds in 1.32 in Record mode, it would start the next event on the 600 second boundaries, so 00:00, 00:10, 00:20, even if you turned on a feed at say 00:23 the first event would only be 7 minutes and ...

Re: View partial (new) events whilst they're still recording (MP4/H264 storager)
Yes, that's how it works with JPEG storage. I was experimenting with H264 storage the other day and the lack of this ability was the only showstopper. I really don't know how it would be done though, the MP4 file format is such that crucial details required by the player/viewer don't get written ...

Re: zmEventRate changing to 1 and no event streaming
Oh, there hasn't been a new official/stable version since this thread started? Somehow I thought... ah well, we shall wait then. Indeed we are waiting on a number of fixes, heh... In the meantime I also figured raise the visibility of the fix, I really had to slog through the search results to find ...

Re: Video Playback Error in events feature-h264-videostorage
I spent a day tracking down this error when I experimented with H264 passthrough a few days ago, and just want to confirm that the error "The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported" I was getting when trying to view H264 events ...

Re: zmEventRate changing to 1 and no event streaming
I just encountered this same issue when experimenting with H264 passthrough.
Deleting that cookie resolved the rate being stuck at 0.01X - so I guess that bug is still there in 1.32.3 (my current version).

Event view remembers some and resets some settings it shouldn't
Event view in 1.32 now remembers the last speed and direction of play that was used - in 1.30 it always reverted to 1X speed and playing forward when starting to view an event, is there a setting to get that back as it was in 1.30? And then when viewing, if you zoom in, and then skip to another ...

Re: Force an "event" when a camera disconnects.
I believe the missing blue screen and missing signal event entries are the same issue, and when one comes back, they both will. Just waiting for someone who knows more to chime in as to why ZoneMinder doesn't notice those anymore, because I see people talking about 1.32 as if it still behaves like 1 ...

Re: Force an "event" when a camera disconnects.
I'm wondering if there's a way to force this behavior in 1.32 without the CPU going ballistic. I can also partially answer this question, in 1.30 if you set the maximum fps to a little higher than the camera's fps, you could limit how fast it tried to process that blue screen (otherwise it sends as ...

Re: Force an "event" when a camera disconnects.
I just registered here to post about a similar problem. I just upgraded from 1.30.x to 1.32.3, which broke several things and I found the easiest way out was to simply wipe everything and start from scratch with 1.32.3 this time. One of the things I noticed after the upgrade, and now still with a ...
