thanks i downgraded it sorta worked so wiped the system and did a fresh install with debian bullseye and zoneminder 1.34 i do have an analog capture card and transposing 9 cameras to mp4 is too much load it looks like zoneminder has gone all wifi devices and pretty much abandoned the old analog stuf ...
