Like Cordel says, you need to "yum install perl-DateManip" If you encounter problems like this try opening Add/Remove Software (if you have a gui) and searching for a few variations on the missing dependency. Try checking out this Wiki entry - it worked fine for me: http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki ...

Odd behaviour with zmtrigger
I'm using a DLink 4 channel video server that works a treat with ZoneMinder. It accepts digital inputs and I've connected one to a photobeam across my driveway. I can use a config script on the server to send a message to a port on another machine when the beam is triggered. I've successfully got ...

Phil, addr2line with that address gives nothing: ??:0 ??:0 This is on the 64 bit machine running Ubuntu. The behaviour seems less predictable on this than the Intel machine with the liveCD install, but I borrowed that from work for the weekend so is not available now. Less predictable insofaras I ...

Change to Modect requires restart with bt878 card
Hi all, I've been slowly configuring a ZoneMinder server and had it working well with my 2 DLink 4 channel video servers. It is a very impressive piece of software and I shall certainly be making a donation once I have everything running smoothly. Now...I've decided to relocate a camera, and due to ...

Using zmTrigger with LiveCD
I'm trying to trigger events from my video server using zmtrigger.pl, but I can't work out how to open a port to send the message. I've tried telnet and redirecting from the commandline to /dev/tcp/localhost/6802, but keep getting "connection refused". I've turned off the linux firewall, shorewall ...

Seeders?
Any seeders out there for the torrent?
I can't seed afterwards but am happy to host the disk image for a while (depending on what demand turns out to be!).

Thanks Corey. The path to install the cgi script is handled through ./configure --with-cgidir=<your cgi directory> If you set all the options up properly you should be okay. I'd have thought so too, but it appears not. My ./configure command is still in my command history and definitely had a --with ...

Using wrong cgi-bin directory
Hi all, I've been working on installing Zoneminder on Ubuntu all weekend and I think I'm nearly there, but I can't get a streaming monitor image, although the still in the zone window works. I think I've found the problem in /var/log/apache2/error.log: [Sun Apr 02 21:57:39 2006] [error] [client 127 ...
