Not sure what I did...

I am now HTTPS with SSL and everything seems to be working

I did switch to SSL and now the latest zmNinja works fine.

If I am using HTTPS do I still need to turn OFF ssl in zmeventnotification.ini? Not sure about your statement.

I configured SSL for Apache and now have HTTPS.

I changed zmNinja to point to https:// instead of http:// and it seems to load the cameras now.

I reinstalled the older zmNinjaPro which prompts for http or https and I choose http and basically it works.

So maybe there is something with https...

I can access zoneminder HTTP but not HTTPS

I agree, that's was on the machine running zoneminder.


My phone/tablet trying to run ZmNinja

http://server/zm/api/monitors.json on the machine with zoneminder seems ok.

When I look at this same address on my tablet logined to zoneminder first.
It is just a bunch of strings of txt, not in the table format like my attached photo.

I have been using zmNinjaPro for years with no issues. I was just reading that zmNinja has been updated. I ended up removing and reinstalling zoneminder. All good now.

I don't think I am using either of these.
Do I have to if I want to use the event server?

I think I have it mostly installed, just wondering about the SSL requirements.

I have had some zoneminder updates, and I thought it was fixed. But now I have this.

Live cameras look fine.
If I got to Montage it seems ok, but it almost makes zoneminder lock-up
Montage Review shows no events.

And I get this error in log when I select montage.

It's Mocord and I selected 8hour.

I also use ZmNinja. And it just gives an error "error retrieving Event List". And shows nothing.

I believe I have the latest.

If I look in my zoneminder folder, I have files within the limits of my filter for age.

This is the error.
Seems like it is recording and keeping data, just not seeing the events.
