My Zoneminder catches every little movement when on motion capture, so I end up with a ton of small 10 second files during the daytime. Along with those 10 second files are also videos of me or other family members moving around. Its picking up motion, but it seems to be ending one file and starting ...

You were talking about people being upset when their load >0. I hooked up my Core i5-3210M with 16 GB RAM. With just the system hooked up, I go to the http page and the load goes around .01 to .18. I know you said >0 so just wanted to ask if that is anything to be concerned with?
