Thanks. That worked but now i have a different issue with Auth.
Im giving up for now on getting this working in a jail I'll have to stick with running it in an Ubuntu VM for now as that just works.

Re: ZoneMinder 1.32.3 Freenas API Failure
Im sure you are on the right lines Bluemax. I finished the upgrade to 1.34.6 and the error has now changed to Error: The requested address '/zm/api/' was not found on this server. Im certain the nginx rewrite is just not rewriting. Maybe its not built with rewrite enabled? If i look in my ngnix ...

Re: ZoneMinder 1.32.3 Freenas API Failure
Thanks. I tried your rewrite instead of mine and it didnt make a difference. Still getting the same error about a missing php file. Is it not strange its looking in /zm/api/app..... shouldnt it be /usr/local/www/zm/api/app...... I've raised it with the package maintainer of the plugins on github ...

Re: Zoneminder API on Freenas Jail problem
I’m having exactly the same issue. I have consolidated into the one thread. I suggest you do the same so we can all see what resolves this.

Re: ZoneMinder 1.32.3 Freenas API Failure
Im having similar issues but zmninja closed my forum post saying this was a zoneminder issue due to it running in a jail. Ive moved to a new NAS. I used to have Ubuntu with ZM 1.34 and the API worked fine. Now in ZMNinja the API fails. It says ZMController.php not found but ZmController.php doesnt ...

Zmninja closed my issue saying this was a zoneminder/freenas issue not a zmninja issue which i agree as the API wont load in a browser either.

I've googled for answers but just finding the same pages ive already read.

API Not Working
Ive moved to a new NAS. I used to have Ubuntu with ZM 1.34 and the API worked fine. Now in ZMNinja the API fails. It says ZMController.php not found but ZmController.php doesnt exist and didnt exist in the working config either. I found a similar post here: https://github.com/pliablepixels/zmNinja ...

Re: Disk filling up
I checked that checkbox and fast delete is not selected and if symlinks make no difference maybe I have a different issue. Like I said the other storage areas seem to be working so I have moved to them for now. I will let you know how I get on after 2 days. Ps I have unchecked run concurrently. Out ...

Re: Disk filling up
Ok, i think i may have solved this although its not tested until the 2 days go past. I moved one of the cameras to different storage and noticed that after 2 days the delete seemed to be working. The difference was the new storage folder had symlinks for the name of the camera e.g Kitchen -> /home ...

Re: Disk filling up
I tried day and days its still not deleting them from the disk so its filling up.
If i set to alarm frames i get zero matches.
Upgraded to 1.34 but still the same.
As you can see there are folders more than 3 days old containing events.
Could it be permissions? www-data
