I resolved this issue by setting a 64-character password. Mine was longer.

Sorry for the bump, but I have to mention: if you set AUTH_RELAY to "none," and your ZoneMinder instance is listening to traffic from the internet, then you are allowing access to your direct camera feeds without any authentication. They won't be able to login to the UI, but if they use a link to ...

I solved this issue by setting a new password as my current password.
Also, it's a really bad idea to disable auth on ZoneMinder. Any user that can connect to ZM will be able to access your cameras.
