Understanding Reference Blending WRT Analysis FPS
I am trying to understand the effect of Analysis rate vs Camera Frame rate VS Reference Blending. My motion detection Camera is running at 5 FPS ( 640X480). I have the Analysis rate set to 2 FPS. Is the reference image blended at 5 FPS or 2 FPS? So something like a car moving directly at the camera ...

Re: Linked Cameras Creating Events within Events
Well I ended up reinstalling everything from scratch ( for non-ZM reasons ). That appears to have done the trick. It all appears to be stable now. I am guessing that all the fiddling just made a bigger mess. I am still occasionally seeing overlapping events in the linked cameras. When a linked ...

Linked Cameras Creating Events within Events
Looks like Linking is very broken. No longer causing Seg faults but now they are creating 100's of events all at the same time. 2024-03-12 08_16_57-ZM - Events.png Note the number of frames vs the size of the files and durration. I am using Version: 1.37.55~20240310110432-focal The log file has lots ...

Linked Monitors create segmentaion fault
Following up on a previous post: When I have my high resolution monitors linked to their low resolution counterparts, they generate Segmentation Faults in the log files and nothing gets recorded. When I Unlink these monitors and set them to motion detection, they appear to work as intended. Motion ...

High Resolution Triggered Monitors not recording (Segmentation fault)
The high resolution streams that are linked to low resolution motion alarms are not recording. There is one frame for the length of the event plus post event buffer time. They appear to be recording for the correct amount of time but there is just one still frame. The log file is full of: 3/2/24, 5 ...

Event triggered inside of another event.
They are also only lasting the minimum event clip time.
I have pre-event buffer set to 50 and post event set to 300.

Re: Linked Monitor Lost its mind
Never mind I guess.... I deleted both monitors and re-installed them. Appears to be much more sane. However as I was reinstalling them and Monitors 19 and 20, I noticed that monitors 1 and 2 still existed. It was going to allow me to link the High res monitor to a monitor that I had deleted. Mess ...

Linked Monitor Lost its mind
Running ZM 1.37.53 From one camera I have two monitors ( my system has a total of 11 cameras ). Monitor 1 is a high resolution feed at 15 Fps Monitor 2 is the same camera low resolution ( 640 X 480, 5fps) for motion detection. Monitor 1 is linked only to Monitor 2 all zones. Monitor 2 appears to be ...

Re: Alarm status is not ended with Norecord
Slightly off topic, but related. I am noticing a bunch of odd behavior in other places as well as the event recording. Beginning to wonder if maybe I have database problems. Is there a good procedure to scrub everything clean and start over? In particular make sure the database is clean. BTW, Thanks ...

Re: Alarm status is not ended with Norecord
Motion Detection : Always Analysis FPS : 5.00 ( Camera is 5 FPS ) Recording : On Motion/Trigger/etc Pre Event count : 25 Post Event count 300 It captured 15 events. They are all exactly 10 seconds long ( either 51 or 52 frames ) One event had 29 Pre Event Frames, 5 alarm frames and 1 post frame ...

Re: Alarm status is not ended with Norecord
I let it run over night. It appears the event is ending too soon now. ( camera is set to 5fps ) Pre Event Frames = 25 Post Event Frames = 150 Section Length = 600 The last event only captured 47 frames. It captured 25 Pre Event frames. Then 19 alarm frames. But only 3 frames after the last alarm ...

Can not add or edit cameras unless logged in.
1.37.50 - Ubuntu 20.04.6
I can not add or edit cameras if I am not logged in.
So with OPT_USE_AUTH unchecked I can not log in, therefore can not make edits.
Works fine if I enable OPT_USE_AUTH, but then I have to login.
Very minor. Just pointing it out.
Thanks
