Re: URIError in ZM-Log after usage of zm_detect_py
These are the log entries from zmesdetect_m23.log which are probably responsible for the error: 08/02/22 01:10:31 zmesdetect_m23[6413] INF ZMLog.py:292 [Setting up signal handler for logs] 08/02/22 01:10:31 zmesdetect_m23[6413] INF ZMLog.py:301 [Switching global logger to ZMLog] 08/02/22 01:10:31 ...

URIError in ZM-Log after usage of zm_detect_py
I tried to get Zoneminder to work on Ubuntu 18.04 with zmeventnotification without GPU support. I have installed Zoneminder 1.36.21, ES 6.1.28, face_recognition 1.3.0, Python 3.8.13, pip 22.2.1 and OpenCV 4.6.0. I haven't activated the ES in Zoneminder yet. Zoneminder itself works wonderfully. Face ...

What and how to Install for Object Detection?
I would like to use Zoneminder together with zmeventnotification for object detection. Unfortunately I can't find any current instructions in which order I have to install which programs. Does anyone know of such instructions or can give me a brief overview of the order in which I must install what ...

Re: difference ffmpeg and remote?
i use an i5@3.2Ghz with Zoneminder in the dlandon-Docker and actually 7 Cams for testing and learning. But if i use modect for more than 2 Cams, htop shows me 100% on every cpu. i think, this is way to much cpu-usage, even for this "old" cpu. i think (as a newbie) that the cams are not properly set ...

difference ffmpeg and remote?
the instructions say that it is better to use 'ffmpeg' than 'remote' as the source type. Can someone explain the difference here?
I have 4 Reolink that work fine with 'remnote', but with 'ffmpeg' have the known lubricate effect.

Hardware sufficient for 7 Cameras?
Hello I am relatively new to Zoneminder and between beginner and semi in Linux. I currently have 7 cameras (4x Reolink 410 with 2560x1920 and 3x Sricam with 1280x720) running on an old Dell Studio XPS 8100 (i5@3.2Mhz with 16GB Ram) on a Debian system with Docker (dlandon-Image), currently without ...
