FWIW I am having the same issue with a REOLink RLC-810A camera. Been playing with settings for days without success.

It looks like I found the fix. Under Source>Method change UDP to TCP. ONVIF had designatedd UDP during initial setup so I left it at that. Turns out TCP is a better choice.

I had the same issue where installing ZM resulted in version 37.x which is a development issue. You need to point your install code source to version 3.6 before installing. On Ubuntu it is: "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:iconnor/zoneminder-1.36".

Just rebuilt my system using freshly formatted drives, Ubuntu 20.04 server and Zoneminder 26.5. Things run fine except for alert playback where the alert frames are grayed out. Non-alert frames playback normally. I am stumped. Please help.

Hello I did a bare metal install of Ububtu Server 20.04. Zone minder is now included in that distribution but running 'sudo install zoneminder' resulted in a non-functional Zoneminder installation.
