Re: upgrade to 1.36.20 - now receiving an error trying to go to ZM site
Well...Turns out to be a bit simpler than i realised...I apparently had multiple versions of PHP running The phpinfo showed I was running 7.1 but the intl file was enabled in 7.4 so simply disabling 7.1 and enabling 7.4 seems to have done the trick.. I honestly had no idea what I was doing, but you ...

Re: upgrade to 1.36.20 - now receiving an error trying to go to ZM site
Using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS which has been bulletproof Maybe I should upgrade to 22.04...do you think that would fix it
Also using php7.4 and Apache2 If that helps diagnosis
Cheers

Re: upgrade to 1.36.20 - now receiving an error trying to go to ZM site
Thanks for that, and thats exactly what I did, however after restarting apache I still got a 500 error.. The log file is not that illuminating [Sat Jul 16 17:05:28.213455 2022] [php7:error] [pid 227322] [client 192.168.0.7:38890] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'IntlDateFormatter' not found ...

Re: upgrade to 1.36.20 - now receiving an error trying to go to ZM site
This is being widely reported, would it be useful if someone who knows what they are doing gave a few guidelines on installation and use of php-intl?

Re: Blanc Screen
+1 here...Had a system that worked perfectly for several months, and did a routine system update (Ubuntu 22.4) ZM 1.36.19->20 got the same error. php=intl is already installed. Apache2 restarted, Zoneminder restarted (and appears to be running!!) but 500 error when attempting to log-in System ...

Re: Upgrade Issue 1.34 ->1.35
Thank you Isaac, That appears to have solved the problem. I followed your instructions, (Add to /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/binlog.conf) .. I had to create that file and (not surprisingly) it didn't work first time, but when I added the line to the file /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf it seems to ...

Re: Upgrade Issue 1.34 ->1.35
Thanks.I have undone adding the master-ppa but was looking for a walk through or tutorial to do the downgrade, do you have any idea where one is? Google throws up a number of hints, but nothing definitive.
As a side thought, if I just wait will things simply catch up?
Thanks

Re: Upgrade Issue 1.34 ->1.35

Is it simply a case of wait till it gets updated or is there a simple way of rolling back to 1.34

Re: Upgrade Issue 1.34 ->1.35
Sorry
I also tried adding a new monitor to my set up, and it wouldn't allow me to do that.
Is this a permissions problem?

Upgrade Issue 1.34 ->1.35
Hi I have run a 6 monitor set up on 1.34 quite happily for a while. Decided that I might like to help with testing, so added the master PPA and upgraded to 1.35.23 using the Ubuntu Software update. The upgrade apparently went smoothly, and I can see my UI as expected, but none of the cameras appear ...

Re: Adding Foscam C1 with ZM 1.34
Agreed, BUT, in the short term and given I am 500 miles away,and only got back yesterday, is there a way of connecting the cams that I have set up to the original system (Security caveats duly noted) as per the OP?

Re: Adding Foscam C1 with ZM 1.34
Yes, the cameras are at my elderly mothers, and the Zoneminder server is at my home. I have opened the appropriate port on her router (as described in OP)
For the original foscam incidences it works fine, but adding teh C1s seems more problematic

Adding Foscam C1 with ZM 1.34
Hi I am using ZM 1.34 on Ubuntu 20.04. All works well with 4*Foscam FI9816P cams, and a Wansview Onvif cam. The Foscams are mapped to ports 81-84 and I use a ddns xxyyyy.myfoscam.org and a source path /videostream.cgi?user=username&pwd=password and method "simple" and type "remote" & it works fine ...
