Re: New PPA for Ubuntu 22.04 jammy jellyfish?
Also after the upgrade, I noticed the event server stopped working, with some fatal error : Net::WebSocket::Server missing So, after the 22.04 upgrade, you also have to re-install the dependencies : sudo perl -MCPAN -e "install Net::WebSocket::Server" sudo perl -MCPAN -e "install Config::IniFiles ...

Re: New PPA for Ubuntu 22.04 jammy jellyfish?
I'm hoping that if anyone else has this problem, they will have an easier time finding the problem now. Too bad, I took my Wordpress server as a Guinea pig for upgrade to 22.04. I struggled a bit to update, and came to the same analysis and fix for the PHP. I would have come here before (but I didn ...

This is going too deep technical for me to understand everything, but it sounds promising. Thanks for taking the time to detail your plans!

Re: zmNinja, ES+ML support discontinuation notice (in advance) : EOY 2021
I just bought the app on the 9th afternoon ! Will I get a goodie for being the last customer ? ;-) Need to check timing, I (actually a friend, at my urging) bought iOS ZM late afternoon of 9th, purchased while enjoying a beer or 3 at Mike's Hole In The Wall bar. Not asking for $$ back, but the ...

Thanks for your efforts, and also thanks for making this GPL. Hopes that someone will take over and continue developping !

Re: Install on a virtual server in internet?
Thanks for your inputs, I was wondering the same as the OP.
Maybe I won't be buying a second hand server, and lean towards new HW more energy efficient.

Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size
I have tweaked a bit the setup and removed one camera at the same time, so I can't be completely sure what is the driver of the improvement on my system. I haven't seen the memory consumption per zmc process decrease, however, I have lot less crashes on events, which make me think that the analysis ...

Re: [a] or [s] in detection report
You will find the answer in the FAQ in the paragraph Configuring the notification server: https://zmeventnotification.readthedocs.io/en/latest/guides/es_faq.html Finally, keep_frame_match_type is really used when you enable “bestmatch”. It prefixes an [a] or [s] to tell you if object detection suc ...

Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size
I tried to play with various setups. I have a camera zmc process jumping to over 2.4GB, another one reaching 1Gb, the 2 others around 700Mb. This is generating repetitive crashes as soon as there is a detection process starting as the system is 6GB. I tried to limit the FPS, remove the limits, put ...

Re: Events with zero frames
zero alarm frames? Maybe post exactly what you want to delete, and a screen shot of what you have for the filter that doesn't seem to work? If you look at my first post, I would like to remove the events boxed in red, because they don't show any frames, and don't have any proper recording. I want ...

Re: Events with zero frames
The thing is that I would like to remove the ones with non-relevant recording, but keep the ones with a proper recording, even if in the event list they are shown with 0 frames. Right now, I am filtering the events with 0 frames and removing the ones with no or small recording manually, but I would ...

Re: Events with zero frames
I still have some crashing - mostly due I assume to memory consumption. In the meantime I would like to clear the records and event which are not relevant (ie recording less than 1Mb), however I haven't been able to figure out the format of the filter "event disk space'. Doesn't seem to be working ...

Re: Events with zero frames
I still have errors coming in the logs from events of yesterday. I will delete all my past events so that my past problems won't keep polluting the logs, and will analyse from a 'clean' event backlog. A non-related issue, but I also realised that zmupdate.pl still retrieves version information from ...

Events with zero frames
Hi, I have just updated from the 1.34.x to the 1.36.x line. (Ubuntu 20.04, ARM64). I have some issues appearing in the event list : 2021-06-01_16-53-53.png In red boxes, events are with zero frames In purple boxes, events show also zero frames, but there is definitely a recording saved. Any idea ...
