Thank you Knight. My build was missing the php-process and php-fpm. I installed those and viola - no more screen flashing.

Don't feel bad, mine is doing the same thing. The stream is looking good in the montage review but not in the isolated screen stream. It was fine in v1.34.x BTW. I'm still looking into this.

Since you plan to use Pelco-D, which is a serial protocol, you'll need to put the path for your serial port in the Control Device field (eg, /dev/ttyUSB0 or whatever number is for your serial com port).

I'm now thinking the "Control Device" is the auth path? Ex. usr=USER&pwd=PASSWORD And "Control Address" is <ip_addr>:<port> These settings yield "After sending PTZ command, camera returned the following error:'404 Not Found'MSG: usr=admin Response: 404 - Not Found 404 - Not Found" Struck out again.

I have a Hanwha Techwin XNP-6040P camera that streams video perfectly, but no combination of "Control Device" and/or "Control Address" settings will work for the Netcat ONVIF control type.
