Thanks from the answer,but it do not help me. My problem is the same. I get the picture by xawtw and cheese, but not zoneminder. The size of the picture 320 x 240,Pla-B1, ... do not help. /dev/video(0) is still red and monitor is white. /dev/video(0) isn't right, it should be /dev/video0(0): that ...

I made other tests with a fresh installation of ubuntu server 10.04, 64 bits this time, and results are identical:
1.24.2 from repositories: all 16 channels
1.25.0 compiled with Wiki's help: only 14 channels, the remaining 2 are red, don't work
In my very humble opinion, this seems like a bug

I uninstalled the compiled ZM 1.25.0, and installed 1.24.2 from the ubuntu repositories, and now I can configure all the 16 channels...

Hi, I have the same problem. I use MAndriva 2006. I already post my problem... The problem is ZM... I use 2 camera's... Mandriva 2006, 512MB ram, 1GB swap if I use KDE, top says that memory gets eaten up, both RAM and swap. But if I don't use the GUI but only the console (init level 3), no problem ...
