Zone image not created
This may be an easy one. This is not a new install and I thought I'd set the zone images before. Now, I see nothing in the /images directory and when I go to edit zones the image is broken. What did I do? Can't find anything in the logs to suggest a problem.
thanks.
thanks.

I've run into a problem. I am updating ZM using a VPN from a remote site using samba. Due to bandwidth limits I am updating the file with a new jpeg about ever second. However, before I go live with this I tested loss of connectivity. When I do, and the file doesn't get updated ZM does something to ...

Source type: File question
How have others used this feature? Fifo? regularly update the file with new images, etc? I'm wanting to send images from a machine that is behind a firewall and would like to know if anyone else has had experience with using the File source type.

UPnP Media Servers and cross server DB sessions
I've added multi-server DB sessions to my modified version of ZM and am going to add UPnP support to ZM for media servers and cameras for my job. Are there any developers out there interested in forking ZM to a multiserver version with UPnP support? The UPnP support would increase the number of MPEG ...

Gadspot GS9603 added to wiki
I just added a wiki entry for the gadspot cameras. I have only setup a GS9603. I also put the control stuff in there as well. Anyone wanting to add to it/edit it feel free obviously. The control script I modified only does one movement at a time up/down/left/right. If anyone has some other controls ...

Well, I can control the PT on the SMCWIPCAM-G now (it has software zoom so I can write that myself), so eventually I will write a control script for it and submit it. But not until I can stream jpeg or mpeg. Any of you had expierence with streaming from port 5001? Just figured I'd ask before I get ...

Jpeg Image Corrupt
Hey, This is probably a dumb question but I am new to zoneminder. I am running 1.22.2 on Gentoo. I have a Gadspot GS9603 and can see the image however I am getting maybe multiple errors. The error I have found so far is in zmdc.log. I am assuming that it is an error in the recording process as the ...

Bandwidth / IP cameras
I have several stores I am installing cameras in. My boss wants everyone to be able to view the cameras from remote. Each location either has DSL or cable. So, I really can't allow everyone to view the cameras from the IP cameras themselves. What I want is for the zoneminder server to be the only ...

Has anyone setup a SMCWIPCAM-G using zoneminder. Anyone know if it is possible? Anything you might suggest in helping set it up?
