Re: Lost events (from database) during move filter
Also investigated what is going on events prior to this and after. Attached 2 screenshots of before and after. events&before.png events&after.png WinSCP_omNH7pd0zP.png I think its only about database not being updated about the move. Prior and after events are all located at the bigdisk and ...

Re: Lost events (from database) during move filter (ubuntu 22.04 1.36.35)
I could not upload 4th picture, so here is the filtered logs with one of the problematic events.
There is also a update disk space filter inplace if it makes any difference.

Lost events (from database) during move filter (ubuntu 22.04 zm 1.36.35)
Hey All, I'm currently having an issue with move filters. I have 2 storage areas, saving only videos to cache, then with 2 filters, move from cache to big drives at 90%, purge from big drives at 95%. movefilter.png purgefilter.png I get many errors like below from filter_4. I believe this is the ...

I keep refreshing the page. chrome_wss1Dl3sGA.png What is the keyframe interval? The key frame is a complete picture, the following frames are changes to the key frame. In a ...

Re: Camera Feedrate Jump
Thanks for the suggestions, i will update iframes and colorspaces on your suggestion.
The image coming from the camera was static. These are indoor cameras looking at a storage area.
I find it weird to have same static image delivered at 150kB/s for 10 seconds and 550kB/s for 20 seconds and so on.

Camera Feedrate Jump
Hey all, I'm running 1.36.35 and I just figured out that the feedrate of cameras are jumping 3-4x inbetween fps updates. Example camera was feeding 150kB/s, 550kB/s, 150kB/s , 550kB/s, 540kB/s, 150kB/s. What can i look into to diagnose this? I tried various settings in Hikvision camera settings ...

Re: Live view zmNinja buffers and throttling
This paragraph describes the difference between zmNinja multi-port and not using multi-port. In short, when you don't use multiport, zmNinja does not use ZM streaming at all. It just grabs snapshots every single time, and the interval specifies how often if will grab images. The lesser you make it ...

Re: Live view zmNinja buffers and throttling
While there is no network/internet trafic, watching montage page at zmninja, I'm getting perfect flow with about every second update of the monitors. But the zoneminder logs are filled with thousands of the warning below; 9/21/22, 10:33:39 PM GMT+3 zms_m14 16257 WAR Exceeded temporary buffer ...

Motion detection visual feedback.
I've started to experiment with the motion detection and zone side of Zoneminder. It would be very helpful if there was some kind of visual feedback in the zone menu. I have cameras high at 15meters, and some look over big areas. It's very hard to do minor optimization without any feedback on where ...

Re: Live view zmNinja buffers and throttling
I've tried stream replay image buffer but nothing changed. I think magic919 is right. This is only about bandwidth or latency of the vpn connection. However, I figured something out, before I was using multi-port, zmninja was updating thumbnails less frequently. Now its trying to keep up with ...

Cant Reach webui
Hello, I've changed my localization settings from system default to "tr_TR" and now I can not open webui. Apache log has the entry below multiple times, I think this is the solution. Storage Optimization
Hello everyone! I've been strugling to achieve stable zoneminder setup for a while. All of my problems were from overshooting stuff, like going to h265 or H264+, using very high iframe or high frame rate. Thanks to your support, I've solved almost all of my problems. Now that these have been solved ...

Re: Question about "queue is full warnings" at 1.36.25
I think what is happening here is that his camera has a large keyframe interval. So his MaxImageBuffer probably needs to be around 500 or more. Ideally a value of 0 would work, but we find that it allows consuming all of ram. iframe interval was the problem! Reduced iframe to 15 and max buffer to 0 ...

Question about "queue is full warnings" at 1.36.25
I've recently updated to 1.36.25 from 1.36.21. Every camera is throwing "You have set the max video packets in the queue to 300. The queue is full. Either Analysis is not keeping up or your camera's keyframe interval 180 is larger than this setting." This was not there in the past, I believe its a ...
