Re: Video Passthrough sometimes creates very long single frame recordings

That is great to know. Thinks are working quite a bit better now. Just put in my donation :-)

Re: Video Passthrough sometimes creates very long single frame recordings

Thanks, increasing the buffer seems to help. I guess this is happening when there is a network issues and ffmpeg is waiting on frames. I had some issues with unlimited, occasionally the camera would consume all the system memory. Trying to understand if there is a parameter which can be passed to ...

Video Passthrough sometimes creates very long single frame recordings

Hi - I have been using Zoneminder in JPEG only mode for a long time. I liked that mode but the storage and CPU usage just became untenable. I am now using video passthrough with Zoneminder 1.36.44. My issue is cameras seem to generate recordings which are small numbers of frames but on playback show ...

Re: Chrome flagging my Zoneminder login page

I think I finally got to the bottom of this - I think. I believe Google can classify the Zone minder login as "Deceptive" if you have not changed the login screen page title and prompt in your Zoneminder config. This is because my stock Zoneminder login looks identical to somebody else's stock ...

Re: Chrome flagging my Zoneminder login page

Are you using a DDNS? I am thinking this might have to do with the fact the TLD for my zoneminder site is probably the same as somebody else out there. Mine is something like myname.dyn-dns.com so if there is another person with a zoneminder login at hisname.dyn-dns.com it looks like my site is ...

Re: Chrome flagging my Zoneminder login page

Here is the description Google is giving me of the problem: Deceptive pages: Your site includes content that tricks visitors into doing something dangerous, such as revealing confidential information or downloading software. Google Safe Browsing protects web users by warning them before they visit ...

Chrome flagging my Zoneminder login page

When I visit my zoneminder login page Chrome gives a "This page is Dangerous" warning. Apparently Chrome thinks it is some sort of phishing site. It is possible to bypass but annoying. I went through the process of claiming the page in Google webmaster tools. The server uses 2fa for ssh and key ...

Re: Zoneminder Timelapse Scripts

Great - yea I didn't know about /index.php?view=image&eid=&fid= for jpegs - could be useful.

Also I just learned the way jpegs are stored is "storage schemes" and not having to do with version of Zoneminder. This script assumes the "medium" scheme.

Zoneminder Timelapse Scripts

Firstly, thanks to the community and iconnor for the work on Zoneminder! I wanted to share a timelapse script I developed a while back. I finally got around to writing up a readme and putting it on Github. It is a little rough around the edges but has been working for me for years. The use case I ...
