Re: Memory Leak/Increase and Choppy events due to Maximum Image Buffer Size
After 8 days of running on Oracle Linux 8, I crashed with out of memory errors galore on the screen. The cpu was pegged at 100% and I could barely initiate a reboot much less look at logs. My innodb was set to 128M so I bumped it up to 2G mostly cause I have no clue what else to do. @iConnor - what ...

Re: Memory consumption always at the limit
How is it performing? I've seen a lot of runaway memory posts recently but overall things are still working.

Re: Cloud Storage Providers : POLL
Seems a worthwhile feature and offering, but like many of said, the details will matter.

Not sure if it helps, but there is a php7.0-intl package.

php-fpm - server reached pm.max_children setting, consider raising it
I recently spun up a new machine on Oracle Linux 8 with php 7. The first time I fired up Zoneminder, the logs were complaining about not finding www.sock, so a new package called php-fpm was installed, which resolved the issue. After about a day, I could no longer bring up the web interface. I ...

Turn on errors in /etc/php.ini and review them /var/log/httpd/ssl_error.log

Re: Increasing usage of RAM memory
I woke up the similar issues this morning. The zoneminder process is up to 12 GB of memory (in a machine with only 12 GB total) and it's swapping 1 GB out of the 4 GB. The machine is operating fine though. I did have an issue last night where the GUI stopped displaying, but I found the following ...

Re: zm_videostore.cpp warning on 1.36.18, was also present on 1.36.17
I've messed with this a bunch today and it appears related to the two cameras where I can't control the fps and the seconds slowly drift off by up to a minute per week. The camera has really bad NTP that only syncs weekly, so I can't even control how accurate the time is. In the end, I'm going to ...

Re: zm_videostore.cpp warning on 1.36.18, was also present on 1.36.17
Unfortunately, I let it run overnight, and the issue persists. It seems to be camera related for sure, because it's only the two cameras I can't control or throttle the fps at the source. The issue seems to happen roughly once per hour, but it not exactly on the hour or anything precise like that ...

Re: No web interface after upgrade to 1.36.21
For what it's worth, the box you fixed for me is running CentOS 7 with PHP 5.
I built a new box when I ran into this using Oracle Linux 8 and PHP 7, and it hasn't had the issue.

Re: zm_videostore.cpp warning on 1.36.18, was also present on 1.36.17
I upgraded to 1.36.20 and I've been seeing this recently too. I can't say which version it started, but it's with two cameras where I can't control or throttle the fps at the source.
The data comes in at 15 fps, so I set "reorder_queue_size=30", and it's been steady for a few hours.

Re: No web interface after upgrade to 1.36.21
nah you and I are using older php, so he wrote an "if statement" to account for how dates are handled with older php.
I've already built a new Oracle Linux 8 box, so I should likely migrate soon anyhow, but this should tide me over for a while.
Thanks again.

Re: No web interface after upgrade to 1.36.21
Thanks man, no luck though. I went through the upgrade again and turned on errors. Here is the exact error: PHP Warning: IntlDateFormatter::format(): datefmt_format: takes either an array or an integer timestamp value or a DateTime object in /usr/share/zoneminder/www/ajax/log.php on line 171 ...

Re: Why is there no event log, hour, day?
As best as I can tell, they changed how it looks so it says null instead of 0.
Can you check your logs? Are the time stamps working there properly? Not the time stamps for cameras but your actual logs. Are they messed up like mine are?
