Good catch! At an earlier point/installation, I had been testing Zoneminder with http, so I allowed that through the firewall. Once that worked, I set up https but must have forgotten to disallow http. I have reset my firewall so no http or https at the moment. I used the work-around from the link ...

OK, but the Zoneminder GUI is not going to let me because admin only seems to be allowed to view, not edit. So it sounds like I need to edit the zm.conf file mentioned in https://zoneminder.readthedocs.io/en/st ... files.html

Weird, I do not remember changing any of the admin defaults. But they must be different since I was able to set up 9 cameras and change the security settings. Recreating the ZM database means having to redo all the cameras? That would suck. "you will have to disable the log in to change it" Is there ...
