I ran 2 cameras (3MP at 10 FPS) on a gen1 i3 with 8GB RAM and it worked well doing motion detection. The 3rd camera caused problems, 3 cameras, 2 threads. In general 1 thread per camera is a good idea for motion detection. I have never used an NVR. ZM has always worked well for me and the interface ...

Ok, I don't need answers more guys, looking in a post, someone have cited "hardware recommendations" at Wiki site, so I looked in there and that say "For 1-4 cameras, you can use a core 2 duo or better CPU.".
