Hikvision has, like, a million different dome cams, each one with an unspeakable code name . Which one would you recommend for a budget of around $500? It should have PTZ (or multiple sensors), IR night vision, wired IP/PoE, and it should of course be fully compatible with Zoneminder.

yes, I think that it started after I changed the filters. Should it return to normal after simply sudo systemctl restart zoneminder?

I have set up a filter to send me email alerts whenever a movement is detected. The movements are captured flawlessly, but the filter throws errors. Any idea how to fix this? Update. I seem to have solved the issue (perhaps) by reducing the alarm frame blending to 3.125% and the Min/Max Alarmed area to 5%. Let's hope for the best...
