Would it be possible to use ZM to trigger an audible chime, when a camera goes into alarm? Has this been attempted, anywhere in here?

I haven't used ZM in about 3 years and I was wondering if there was a way to intergrate audio into the video, yet? I did a search through the forum, but I didn't really find anything that said "You can record audio, now!"

I'm having an issue with firefox 3.6 not showing the stream in windows 7. It shows images, in still mode, but no stream. Any ideas?

Does anyone know of a bttv capture card that will work at full 800x600 or larger resolution? Is this even possible?

I've got 4 axis cameras capturing at 1024x768, set to issue 5fps. The cameras are issuing the images, fine, but zm can't seem to capture them all and, apparently, drops several frames at 3fps. I just installed fedora core 8 and I'm trying to compile zone minder, but I keep getting the error that I am missing libz.a All of the packages that should contain libz.a are present, including zlib and mysql-devel. I have found the file located in /usr/lib. Any ideas?

I was wondering if there was any special stipulation for the setting:

ZM_WEB_POPUP_ON_ALARM Should the monitor window jump to the top if an alarm occurs

The windows will not popup when the camera goes into alarm.

Anyone know where I can get an inexpensive mount and housing that will keep the wires concealed up to the wall? I was going to use the WBOVA1, from videotec, and a HEB housing, but no one has them. Any ideas and online store locations, in the US?

I am at a loss. ZM keeps crashing my system, but there is nothing in the log. I am running 2 megapixel cams at 1600x1200. If I leave ZM off, and run a cpu burn in, it will do just fine, but if I launch ZM and let it do it's thing... crash and burn. Like I said, though, there isn't anything in the ...

Ok, I have the Axis 223m's ready to go, and I can view them across the network. What location should I be looking for to capture the stream? Do I right click on the actual live view's image and use that location, /mjpeg/video.mjpeg, or is it located somewhere else? I have tried using a preset, but ...

It's a bluecherry card, but, ebay or not, they probably all come from the same place. I'm going to check out the overheating, though. One of the employees told me that someone has been turning off the a/c unit in the server room, so that may be the problem, too. Probably an angry employee.
