Ok i have now built the server to go onsite and download the IDVr 3.0.6 beta release i think. I note in some posts saying this may not be working. New release is due out this month with some fixes. I think i will test it anyway. If it fails i will go with a windows server insteed. cheers for all ...

Use iDVr 3.0.6, as cordel points out ViewMAX is simply a web ui replacement/overlay for ZoneMinder.skippy wrote:

Site Outage/Freshmeat on Hold
I haven't been able to reach this site for several days, and today I noticed the freshmeat listing is on hold which effectively delists zm and vm from their site. Any word on what that's about?

And how can integrate this in my ZoneMinder machine? It's a Sabayon Linux 3.2 with ZM 1.22.3? Is there anywhere a HowTo? There is not a how-to for the interface only implementation, it is fairly straight forward however, if you grab the interface from SourceForge and extract it in a temp directory ...

gola, i just recently took over the development of DevSec, it was dead of almost a year and the code has a few "issues" which are being ironed out. Look for a minor release in January to resolve issues with the current release, and a new stable release in Feb, along with a new name for the project ...

Is ViewMAX only available as ISO Live-CD Image, our can i get this frondend for ZM as standalone application??? It is not a live-cd, it was released as both partition images containing the complete system, and another release with just the "skin" which you can place on top of your own ZM install ...
