TrendNet 640x480
I have tested this and it does work under both zoneminder releases and both ubuntu releases. My simple observation is that 640x480 has a lot of data being pushed and if the frames per second on the camera(s) is/are above 7, and there are more than a couple of cameras, there seems to be a network ...

Added note
I am having a problem keeping the NIC IP addresses configured. It drops the saved values on a reboot. As of this moment, I am not pleased with the Network configuration screen in this version of Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 8.10, Zoneminder 1.23.3-3, TrendNet TVIP-201P
In short, I configured this and it is working fine. I downloaded the Ubuntu 8.10 64bit-AMD (kernel 2.6.27-9 generic) from University of Minnesota mirror. Burned the iso and loaded onto a white-box with ASUS M2N68-VM board with AMD Athlon 64X2 6000+ chip. Applied all Ubuntu updates. Used Synaptic to ...

Regarding the TVIP201W
I have not tried the wireless version of this camera. I have used a TVIP200W once and it worked the same as a I recall. That said, I am not certain as to what part is not working for you. Are you able to set up the camera, but simply cannot get the image into zoneminder? I know that the path is ...

Not sure what you mean.
Not sure what you mean Tony. I am using many of the TrendNet TVIP-201 with the path set to /goform/capture and everything works fine. I do address each camera as a remote with a loginname:password@ipaddress.

Trend Net TV-IP 201 Configuration
Out of the box, the address for the browser is 192.168.0.30. Make sure your NIC is on a 192.168.0.x network. I have had problems making this work with a crossover cable so I use a switch and AC adapter on the camera. Once the image displays, click on Administration and the login and password are ...

PurgeWhenFull issue
I have 5 systems running 1.22.3 on Ubuntu 7.10 64 bit. I have two that do not purge when full, three that do purge. I set the filter to delete the matches and run in the background, but some of these do not seem to actually execute. Once the partition fills, it crashes the server and I end up ...

Regarding TrendNet Cameras
I have about 10 installations-- most of them are running TrendNet cameras. some are the TV-IP100, most are TV-IP200 which is not made anymore. It was replaced by the 201 and now the 201P with POE. I cannot see to keep TrendNet wireless cameras on-line. I have also used some older DLink, Gadspot and ...

Gadspot only ok
I also have one location running the Gadspot cameras. They do work, but I do not care for the image quality. I may not have it properly adjusted. That said, I use the TrendNet 201P ($165) which has the POE built-in so that you do not need the injector/converter. It also takes standard CCTV lens' so ...

Trend Net TV-IP201 Working
As James Wilson discovered, the path can be: /goform/capture I have not tried the mjpeg.cgi (above) but that may work as well. If I get an update on that for the Trendnet IP201 I will post that. I will have the TV-IP201P with the POE in a few days to test. I like these cameras because the lens can ...

Will provide the camera
I forgot to post that I would be willing to send someone one of the MJPEG TV-IP201 cameras to get the information I need. I have 30+ installs with 6-9 cameras each so this MJPEG problem is a real show-stopper.

That would be correct I guess. I sent an email to TrendNet to get that, but I have not heard back yet.

Problem with a TrendNet TV-IP201
This is an unresolved problem from this last summer. I have Ubuntu 7.10 with ZM 1.22.3 running fine with a TrendNet TV-IP100. It is set to Remote Host = user1:user1@10.10.10.13, Port = 80, Remote Host Path = video.cgi (also works but slower as image.jpg) I have a TrendNet TV-IP200 which produces M ...

Ok, I think I got it
I see that I need to save the filter as set to get the ability to SAVE the name and choose the delete box. I was missing the SAVE step to insert the PurgeWhenFull name.
