The path for the still image is: /Jpeg/CamImg.jpg
The purple hue you see in the camera is because of the way the sensor captures an image in low lighting conditions. It has to do with the infrared.

Jose.

I have arounf 12 of these cameras and they work great for me. Granted, there are a couple things you got to know... 1. DO NOT USE MJPEG if you're going to have more than 3 or 4 cameras. These cameras cannot be throttled like the Axis cameras, so they are always sending a 20fps stream to the server ...

What you're triying to do is to set a proxy on your ZM server so it can check for new versions. This setting is separate form the proxy you enter in your web browser. You need to set an environment variable called http_proxy. Here's what you do: For one time setup, type in a shell: export http_proxy ...

James, To send SMS messages produced by ZM you'd need to achieve 2 things: First you neet to get ZM to execute a program/script on an alarm event, and feed this program with an informative message to be sent. This is Phil's area. Second, you need the program/script to take the message produced by ZM ...

Going back to the original issue of this thread, I have some pointers for you based on my experience. I also use ZoneMinder in a production line. Most of the times cameras are used to monitor a whole area of a production line. When this is the case, motion detection is not as advisable. The issue is ...

Definitely AXIS is the best on quality and service. If you can afford it. If your budget is tight(er), consider the gadspot cameras www.gadspot.com, specifically the GS1000 model at $104. I run them on JPEG mode, not MJPEG, and they go up to 20fps at 320x240 resolution. I've seen them go up to 15fps ...

Well, I use SATA on FC4 and I have not seen any problems with disk performance (yet) I have a motherboard with a VIA SATA chipset... lsmod reveals the via_sata module as active. Here are my hdparm test results: # hdparm -t /dev/hda /dev/hda: Timing buffered disk reads: 144 MB in 3.03 seconds ...

Hi, In my experience, Axis is THE BEST. But it is also the MOST EXPENSIVE. I chose to go with the Gadspot IP cameras, namely the GS1000 model. They work great for me and my only complaint is that I cannot throthle the FPS in MJPEG mode. That led me to use the old JPEG mode wich lets me grab up to 10 ...

This is the same as the new TrendNet model TV-IP201 Camera, only cheaper. Around $110.00 on Newegg.com... Yay! Usually Trendnet cameras work with ZoneMinder. There are a few threads on the forums about these cameras. So it might be safe to assume this new model works with ZM. But a confirmation from ...
