Problem solved. I had to set modprobe options bttv radio=0 card=77 tuner=-1, and force the format to PAL (from auto that I had it set on).

I have the same problem which I described here (accidently put it in the wrong forum), except I'm using tvtime to achieve the same result.

I went through what was discussed in your link cordel but all the permissions seem to be correct for me. I'd appreciate any other hints anyone may have.

Strange B&W problem

Hi all. I've been running ZM 1.22.1 for a while now with an old TV tuner card, which has worked very well. Recently I was given a 4-channel capture card so I thought I'd give it a shot with ZM. From what I can see on the card, it's BT878A based. I've got it working under ZM but the images are in ...

Yeah - wouldn't have to be command line only, that was just a suggestion on a way it could be done. An option to set to go straight to playback for a chosen monitor by default would achieve the same thing too.

I only have one camera so I didn't think about having to choose a particular monitor. :)

Hi James,

I have another quick feature request if it is easy to implement: I only just zm4ms to review events, not actually monitor what's happening in real time, so a option or command line switch to go straight to the screen you get by clicking the green square would be fantastic.

Thanks,
Bruce.

jameswilson, First up just let me say your app is great! Took me a while to discover that there was an initial password of admin/admin but once sorted everything works well. Is the initial password in a readme somewhere, or did I skip over something I shouldn't have? I only discovered this ...
