8 X 7130 board from Asianwolf
I did get this board to work on Kubuntu8.03 and ZM1.22.3. card = 33 did not work, gave me scrambled video. Card=72 did work but I had to list the device path /dev/video0 to 7 depending on the cam and use device channel 2. Also in /etc/modprobe.d created a file called saa7134 contents: options ...

1.23.3 running on Kubuntu desktop with 8 chip Saa7130
OK this is kinda of a worst case machine. Its a home built P-4 1.3 GHz computor with 1 gig RAM. I bought a 240 fps card from AsianWolf and got so sick of their DVR ap that I put Hardy Heron and ZM in. (Hardy Heron..whats next? Horney Beaver?) Anyway I had to do some things to make this work. 1)I had ...

I have a board with eight Saa7130 chips on it. Ubuntu for some reason likes to install the saa7134-alsa driver on that board. I think this is mucking up the works (a little technical jargon there). Been fighting with getting the 7134-alsa driver off and modprobing in a new one. when I dump the alsa ...

further fix...
Well it was a little more serious than what I described. I noticed that after I changed zone shapes that the stills were not displaying. I did a make uninstall and make clean and re-installed the ZM and the DB. Now everything works as it should. Go figure..

Fixed it already
OK, I think it must have been a broken link. I fixed it by going into options, paths and changing the value for ZM_DIR_EVENTS to something else, restarting ZM and then changing it back to events and restarting ZM again. Now I can see the event video, the stills and the blob analysis. Seems like the ...

Stills for events not displaying
I just moved over to FC 4 from Suse 10.1. I'm running 1.22.3. Installation per the instructions in the wiki went fairly well. I can record and play back events. However I cannot view the stills of an event. Checked the databases, permissions, and logs, nothing rears its ugly head there. SE is ...

fixed, yahoo!
I was able to fix this tonight by deleting the index.php and creating a new link:
ln zm.php index.php
now I can see my cams on my network. Next will be to see them on the oter side of my NAT.
