Well it was a little more serious than what I described. I noticed that after I changed zone shapes that the stills were not displaying. I did a make uninstall and make clean and re-installed the ZM and the DB. Now everything works as it should. Go figure..

I fixed it by going into options, paths and changing the value for ZM_DIR_EVENTS to something else, restarting ZM and then changing it back to events and restarting ZM again. OK I read the MYSQL manual and fixed the permission. Here is the latest error when runing zmupdate.pl. Would alter permission be set when I ran the configure script?

But I RTFM after I made the last post, a little bass ackwards way to do things but it works fine.

How do you password this out to keep the gremlins off? (web access)

Mapped port 80 to my Zm server address (through linksys AP router) and was able to see my cams through the firewall at work.

I was able to fix this tonight by deleting the index.php and creating a new link:
ln zm.php index.php

now I can see my cams on my network. Next will be to see them on the oter side of my NAT.
