Hi, is there any linux program that can read the mpeg stream of that cam? I tried VLC, but it does not work. The camera works in Internet Explorer with an activex.... My idea is to use a linux program that reads the mpeg4 stream of the ipcam and then that saves jpeg pictures for zoneminder ... this ...

I've written to Gadspot techsupport and they said that there are not alternative firmware that provide a jpeg capturing path.
GS4000 supports only MPEG4 :( ...sigh!
