IM thinking about bulding a fanless slimmed system based ona VIA ITX board - The problem is that the CPU on the board is pretty limited so doing Software VMD on 8 cameras is impossible (or at least close to impossible) I own 4 Axis 210 and they have inbuilt well working VMD so im thinking ...would ...

Axis has just released a camera called 211 with support for Power Over Ethernet inbuilt check out

I think it's safe to bet that they will come out with more products with this feature
