I recompiled ffmpeg and ZM again and made sure i had all packages.

i Followed the FC6 Wiki guide here.

Now it works im not sure what it was that caused this the first time.

I have 512Mb but i doupt this has anything to do with that. Its something new or something that breaks when you update from FC5 to 6.

I have the same problem, i updated to FC6 yesterday and to zm 1.22.3 in hope that it whould solve this no success. Everything seems to work beside the feeds. i get the little preview pictures on events but i cant see the "stream" of jpeg pictures. Hope someone can find a solution, ill post...

Thank you for your reply James, but no there should not be any extra cron jobs beside the default ones.

I can recomend the "HAUPPAUGE IMPACTVCB" serie of capture cards if you want some really cheap cards. Only one capture ciruit so it cant have a high FPS. Up to 4 inputs and atleast Fedora 4 more or less autodetects the card with no problems at all.
