Does Zoneminder motion detection work well with your D-Link or is it the D-Link that does the motion detection.

Can anyone recommend a PoE network camera?
That allows full control via ZoneMinder and allows ZoneMinder to record only when motion is detected?

Hi, I'm using Zoneminder 1.24.2 I've managed to get the Instar camera feeds to be recorded (I believe) by Zoneminder however does anyone know how to allow Zoneminder to control the cameras as well?
Thanks,

AXIS 212 and Linux
Hi, I'm looking to setup some CCTV using an AXIS 212 and wondered 1). whether this will work with Zoneminder and 2). What linux distro would you recommend to use Zoneminder in conjunction with (I'm a real newbie with Linux)?
Any help would be much appreciated!
