You need to create the db by typing mysql < db/zm_create.sql at a shell prompt not a mysql prompt. You can execute the create script from inside mysql but I can't remember the syntax off hand. If you are typing that command inside mysql it might well be ignoring it. Thanks, that solved the problem ...
