Are you guys perhaps using a 2.6.21.5 kernel on your distribution? I was on my Slack12 installation and found that a bug was introduced in the bttv driver in this version. Yup, it was the Kernel!!!! I downloaded and configured 2.6.23 (Gentoo mm-sources) and now I get a clear picture. Thanks a TON ...

PAL gets me an image but NTSC does not. Matt I used the module options to fix that other problem ...

Ok I figured it out. If you are using this card on Ubuntu Edgy you can fix the problem by adding the following line to /etc/modprobe.d/options: options bttv card=77,77,77,77 One other note to make the cameras make sense in relation to the dongles when you start creating cameras start with channel 0 ...

Very interesting...

I changed the monitors from NTSC to PAL - And I get a scrambled picture!!!! So what the heck? Did I forget to enable NTSC somewhere?

I had to change my apache2 "DocumentRoot" from /var/www to /usr/share/zoneminder. Now it works. Hmmmm. You shouldn't have to do that. Step 11 should take care of the direction of http://{machine name}/zm. Can you pls double-check that you really had to change to DocumentRoot? If so there's a ...

I had to change my apache2 "DocumentRoot" from /var/www to /usr/share/zoneminder. Now it works.
