try switching off any autodetection (use the bootcodes) so when the system starts over just turn off usb scsi etc.. when u're suspecting the hardware to cause problems just try this one: livecd nousb noscsi safex nopcmcia nocow if u need more bootcodes which might helt u try this document ;) http ...
