zmfilter.pl
Dear Abroz, i had the same problem with my Installation; just enter in a shell: zmfilter.pl and maybe you get error-messages concerning some perl-modules; (perhaps: php::Serialization) I had to Install this perl-module via CPAN-Modules with webmin (this was my approach, maybe not the best); hope ...

Playback Issue solved with inconsistent camera id numbering
Dear James, i use direct IP-Adresses of my zm-box and I didn't use multiserver streaming; This was my mistake; I took the camera numbers as they appear on the zm-console, not as they appear on the camera-settings of the Viseon-Viewer; Such way the Viseo-Viewer came up with database-access errors, as ...

Playback Issue solved with inconsistent camera id numbering
Hi James, the solution to my playback issue was to easy to be seen by me. My Camera id's are not consequently numbered from 1 upwards, so i entered them on the playback-setup-page as they apear in my zm-console. (e.g. 1-2-3-8-9-19) This was my fault, as the Viseon-Viewer numbers them as they apear ...

Hello, Taz I run ZM with two cameras at 384x288x2fps with an old PII/350 with 256MB Ram just for streaming to my real ZM-server; it works great, but just for streaming; when image analysis comes in, the load goes up to 4 and further, which ist "not recommended" :-) I also got several errors when ...

resample vs resize
Hello, i am still in troubles using 768x288 (PAL) as capture-res... I managed to change the PHP-code to double the height (768x576), but the images are just resized, so very pixelated. If i save a streamed jpeg, open it with GIMP and reSAMPLE it to 768x576 it looks almost wonderfull. So my question ...

Hi, Ed, i hope it's not too late; i think, it might be possible that you ran into the "32000 entries per directory" - limitation of the ext3-FS, as your logs mentioned something like that. I advanced to ReiserFS on an 250G-Drive (apparently i had to - my drive went dead) and kept from using Ext3 on ...

Hi, yes, my zm does modect with 768x288; (thanks to the zm-author zone-setup scales automatically with capture resolution!) But i found no way to configure zm to correct the ratio for views; would be very nice, because this way one can use full horizontal resolution without interlacing-issues. I ...

Image ratio for e.g. 768x288
Hello, I am having troubles with configuring zm for non-interlaced images with the best possible resolution; my thought was to use the maximum horizontal resolution (768px), because with 384x288 the recognition of faces in approx. 10m becomes hard to do. Unfortunately i have found no way to correct ...

solved: spontaneous alarms
Dear Ladies and Guys, I have read posts on this forums for a while, because my zoneminder came up with several alarms "just as it wanted to". I am using four Philips LTC450/51-Professional- cameras on a now "type 77"-card; The Solution was to change the resolution on the "source"-tab to 640x480 ...
