Hi, My cameras are colour cameras, they work on windows fine in colour, whenever I use ZoneMinder i can't seem to get any colour, I've tried all different "formats" PAL-N PAL-M etc and the most i ever can get is grey scale. I read the doc'o and have used zoneminder live cd in the past, but for the sake of my can't get the root password to work.

sudo passwd root

and reset it but i still cant login to it. Anyone got any ideas what the issue is?

Hi, I have just installed zoneminder on a machine with a 4 port card, had issues to start off with but sorted them out.(wrong format). I ticked the option in options on the webbased interface to make it protected. I thought the default username and password was 'admin', which i got from the doc'o ...

I tried Tvtime but it seems to always act as a tv, or well I can't change the channels on it (4 port card)

I took a few photos of the same screen as they weren't coming out very well. Hopefully this will help. Please ask any questions needed.

I put an extra 256 stick in, didn't fix the problem same message at the same stage. I've borrowed a digital camera, I'll take a picture of the message.
