Hi James. Sorry for being dumb but what do you mean by mmx - hopefully 15 frames per second will be enough to capture all the data we need. If we want to record somebody sprinting down a running lane would it make more sense to have just one motion detection zone at the start of the track to trigger ...

The CPU is a 1.5ghz mini ITX board with 1gig of Ram. We chose this board because it has no moving parts.. this is important because the solution runs off a battery. I don't think that there is a faster mini ITX board without moving parts (fan). Maybe the only thing we can do is beef it up with 2gigs ...

Picolo Tymo - Capture Card
Has anybody used the Picolo Tymo on a linux distribution yet? I'm considering testing one but it is a lot of money to spend upfront and I'm not sure what the benefits are (other then size) over any of the other video capture cards.
I'd love to see some demo pics!!

global warming - low power consumption - Zoneminder...
Hi guys. I want to run two cameras on a machine that runs off a car battery. The proposed outdoor enclosure has in it: 1) one fanless mini itx board 2) one gig of ram 3) one car battery 4) blue cheery video input card Is there a way to tell the cameras to use low low low power unless there is a ...

Search events by date
We had a break in in one of our office buildings and we're not having any luck finding the correct event images because there are too many. Does anybody know of a module / plugin for searching by day / date?

stuck in an alerted state
Our ZM is setting stuck in an alerted state and isnt saving any images. The only way to fix this is by doing this: mysqlcheck --all-databases --auto-repair -p This is strange because the database doesnt appear to have anything wrong with it and then it will only save a few more events before locking ...

Preserve Aspect Ratio - Done!
This works for us. It is brilliant and it has already saved me plenty of time, hopefully Robi can use it and hopefully cordel can integrate it with the next version. Ciao,...
