Could happen that the ZoneMinder ebuild has been updated since I did my tests and I wrote the HowTo? The start/stop script not working was reported on the BugZilla of Gentoo so maybe now has been fixed ?? Anyways if anyone makes improvements to the HowTo please feel free to update the wiki ...
