The current value is 0, it is the default value (I never changed that)

After fixing everyhting (log files, access, ...), I still get an error message in the /var/log/messages

Does anybody get that as well ? Do you have any clue how to fix it ???

As far as I am concerned, I have the same cam than you but it does work.I use a Mandrake 9.1.
xawtv has to be started with the -c option...

I just ran into this problem.
The directory where the logs are supposed to be dumped DOES NOT EXIST.
Create it by hand and everything will be fine
