FTP from slidell Louisiana
I just left my home in Slidell Louisiana. I have a camera hooked up to a box pointed at the backyard with zm 1.22.3 on it. I want to be able to have the box push images via ftp to google base until the internet in the area goes down. What is the quickest way to have zoneminder upload a picture to ...

Getting a new error now: libphp5.so is garbled - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO? Here is the background of how I got to this: OK, I found what I thought was the cause. I looked in: /etc/apache2/mods-available /etc/apache2/mods-enabled and found no softlinks for php5. So I created these ...

Keeps prompting me to download file...
I recently did some reconfiguring on my zoneminder box to make it function as a general webserver. I added some domain redirects such that I can keep the same IP address but service multiple domain names with different websites. That being said, I did alot of playing around to get things working ...

Last events filter
I want to create a purge filter to keep the last 100 events for a given camera. Is there a way to do this? I have done filters with the -time increment and is close, but not exactly what I want.

How do I add this perl module to an already-installed from bluecherry.net live cd. I tried using the PTZ from the web interface and no go. I then tried from the command line and: root@zoneminderbox:/usr/local/bin# zmcontrol-pelco-d.pl --device=/dev/ttyS0 --address=1 --command=zoomTele 1 Can't locate ...

PTZ control
I have zoneminder 1.22.3 installed. I have a Sony Pelco-D camera with 485 terminal on it. I have this connected to a 232/485 converter. I have this hooked to COM1 on the PC. I checked ZM_OPT_CONTROL in Options. I clicked on the "Control" tab in the camera Source screen. I checked controllable and ...

CPU/MB Performamce advice
I am using a PV-183 16 port card from bluecherry and it works ok with 3 cameras, but is very slow performing at present (unusable with 5 cameras). This is probably due to my hardware setup (AMD duron 400 or so [don't remember exactly], 640M RAM [3 sticks - 512+64+32]), old Maxtor 10G HD. Just some ...

Zoom Outdoor analog camera recommendation
I need a zoom only, analog (non ip/network), outdoor camera - Lousiana temperatures. I have been looking all over and I find mostly PTZ cameras for $1000+. I came across some zoom only cameras a while back, but have lost the link and am unsure of it's zonemider compatibility anyway. I am trying to ...

Digicam120 from 123cctv
I am new to DVR cards, but have been around linux and open source for a good while. I made a mistake and wound up buying without prior researching. I bought this camera and dvr capture board kit from 123cctv.com and am finding out that the hardware only works with their cheesy windows program. I ...
