Yep, that was it. I'm getting ready to do a major overhaul / reinstall of my server, so I'll probably go ahead and add cambozola once that is done. In light of the source of the problem, I would also vote for adding it to the FAQ.

Whenever I view a live stream, then close and shortly thereafter go back to it (within 20-30 minutes), I get the "broken page" icon for the image itself. Wow, that was it! I was using the IMAGE.JPG. Switching to video.cgi immediately upped the rate to 16-18 fps.

Great software, can't wait to finish out the system!

I bought a D-Link DCS-900 network camera (wired), and set up the ZoneMinder software last night. It's working quite well, considering my server is low on memory (Dell PowerEdge 600SC 2.4GHz 256MB).
