You'll get these if your ffmpeg-libs aren't up to the task. Maybe you compiled 1.26.4 with the wrong ffmpeg path or omitted some options?

It would seem there is no libjpeg-turbo package for Debian wheezy. This becomes truly painful if you wish to have php5-gd installed for thumbnail generation; it depends in libjpeg8 which in turn fraks up the libjpeg-turbo workaround above. I am also able to report that the Alert-series from Logitech work fine with ZM. You will have to use ffmpeg as source (ZM RTSP fails with h.264 streams). Do *not* limit capture speed, setting this lower than 15fps will make the feed unstable (you can limit the alarm fps).
