I am running 1.24.2 after upgrading from a previous version. Like others I desperately miss the ability to automatically filter out archived events (as the default setting).

Can we please get this back in, or tell us how to set it up?

OK looks like I am next in line for the problem. Have tried the recommended actions and YES with the database closed. I even tried to repair the events table from within the database - no joy.

Can I take you up on the offer of a PM to look at the system?

Got the basic PTZ working for the FCS-1040. Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Iris, Focus all going but I ran out of time to finish the script (pan speed, patrol, etc). You could do the same sort of thing yourself with bits and pieces.

I have got the Level One FCS-1040 working (... without the PTZ at this stage). It gives a pretty good picture. Will be working on the PTZ aspect this weekend. Will report back on success with settings and a copy of the script.
