changing ">& ffmpeg.log" to "&> /tmp/ffmpeg.log" in zmvideo.pl also fixed my problem with ubuntu 7.10 server 64 bit and 1.22.3-7

just to let you know, my cpu load got noticeably reduced by unchecking the ZM_CREATE_ANALYSIS_IMAGES option. I did it to reduce disk usage, but got a significant cpu load decrease as a bonus!

Hi! I recently purchased the PV183-16. The card works as expected and the guys at bluecherry are very helpful, but bear in mind something: the card has 8 chips, so you will be able to get 240fps ONLY if you use 8 cameras. If you use 2 cameras per chip, expect 5fps at the most, that´s what I get. ...
