I have exactly the same cam and other logitechs.. (046d:08d*) They all use zc3xx driver and they do not work with zoneminder for some odd reason.

They work with xawtv and motion.. but for some reason not with zoneminder.

Looks like a driver issue, What is at the tail end of dmesg when you have ZM running? What happens if you run xawtx and capture jpeg snapshots from it? Because I'm out of ideas i'm just going to ask what modules you are using for your cams? Could a faulty module do all this?

I tried to compile gspca from a source but it didn't work because it can't find semaphore.h for some reason.
