Hi Kevin,

Why not take a look at the Livecd Provided by Ross in the download section, This installs a working version of Zoneminder with everything needed.

The /dev/video1 is a webcam which at the time of the log was not connected.

I have a KMC 8800 DVR Card, I think it's ment to be used with Codicom (Windows software)
I can't seem to get it working with ZoneMinder

It's an 8 channel 878 Card.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've recently built a PC for use with Zoneminder.

ASROCK K7 upgrade 600
AMD 1600+ CPU
256 M Ram
Which works fine in Grey with a 4 channel card BT878 , I can't get the Pictures to appear in Colour, each time I select the colour Palette the frame rate drops to 0.

Any Ideas?

Tried a whole bunch of differant hardware configurations : New Hard Disk New Graphic card New IDE cable It seems like the IDE interface on the motherboard isn't compatable, its a ASROCK K7 Upgrade 600, not a 880 as previously stated. Installed LiveCD onto a Celeron 2.6ghz machine with no problems ...

Hi,

The system still locks with the screen saver disabled, this time it happened whilst formatting the drive. The system seems to locks anytime during the installation.

I forgot to mention I have a 8 Channel DVR card installed (8x878)

Is there anything else I could Try?
